Results 2021

The results of the balance sheet of revenues and expenses over 2021 are € 80,970 positive, while they were budgeted for zero.

The sum of the revenues over 2021 – including financial benefits – is € 216,664 lower than budgeted. The sum of the expenses over 2021 is € 297,634 lower than budgeted.

The total revenues over 2021 were slightly higher than the previous year. The revenues over 2020 were already considerably higher than those over 2019, mainly as a consequence of the donations for the Covid-19 emergency fund, but also due to the higher profits of the winter campaign.

We are grateful to our Lord for the many generous donations received in 2021 and for the fact that He enables us in this way to continue to serve and encourage our neighbours in the countries where we operate, both by word and actions and through our faith in and dependency on Him.

Kom over en help cooperates with 28 different organisations in six countries. The methods for cooperation vary, because every organisation is unique. In 2021 Kom over en help developed a model called partner differentiation. By this model the organisation determines for instance how the cooperation works exactly, what additional documents or developments may be needed, and how many contact moments are minimally required during the year.

In 2021 Kom over en help supported 30 projects within the intervention strategy of education. A total of 51,103 people received support.
In 2021 Kom over en help supported 16 projects within the intervention strategy of income generating activities. A total of 4,058 people received this kind of support.
In 2021 Kom over en help supported 19 projects within the intervention strategy of social care. A total of 2,404 people received support within this intervention strategy.
